Unfolding Parent/Child classes offer a space for adults to observe the competence of young children in
self-initiated movement and play.

The studio is a discovery room for children under the age of three and adults.

Inspired by the Pikler™ approach, Waldorf education, parent and child classes are equipped with play materials that encourage free, self-chosen play. These open-ended objects can be manipulated in different ways-stacked, sorted, rolled, banged, open to the child’s imagination and interpretation.

Developing a sense of self through free movement
This is a non-judgemental space for parents and carers and for their little ones. The emphasis is on sitting back and allowing your child to ‘unfold’ - taking their time to do what they need to at their own pace. Debbie is on hand at all times to model respectful care. Debbie helps parents learn how to support their child’s play and learning while respecting their autonomy and promoting healthy peaceful relationships.
Session length is 75 minutes
6 FAMILIES PER SESSION
